This is my view of what a Dunlop ArtCar should be. I have called it "D&N Loop" what it means "Day and Night Loop". It represents the Day and the Night, the spirit of endurance races and the legacy of Dunlop in motorsport. I have modified the Flying D a little bit, adding a sun crown around the circle part of it, trying to represent the confidence The Sun gives and associating it to the "Drive with Confidence" phrase. In the back view the Flying D points directly to the center of a ferris wheel that represents the Le Mans 24 hours and is similar to a bicycle wheel, that is the beginning of the Dunlop experience in making tyres. There is also the face of John Boyd Dunlop extracted from one of the first trade mark logos and Dunlop typed with a retro look. In the side view there are strokes in different colors taken directly from a photo of the cars drawing lines in the night and representing the competition that is taking place. In the hood the Union Jack in a retro style is uncovered by the flowing lines, revealing the british heart of both the JMW Motorsport Team and Dunlop.
